Having a qualified and diverse workforce is a prerequisite for being a trusted sustainability leader in our industry and beyond. This fact led us to introduce a global skills curriculum – Allianz Sustainability Training – a promising start to providing all employees with the understanding and tools needed to become Allianz’s sustainability ambassadors around the globe and to help lead Allianz into the transition economy. Further to our workforce development, we are applying our leadership and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, serving as an Iconic Leader of Valuable500 and as part of United Nations’ Human Rights Free & Equal LBGTI charter and its Women’s Empowerment Principles charter. In this report, we will detail the commitments we have made and the recognitions that we have earned in this important driver of sustainable performance. Our ambition is to be the trusted partner of our stakeholders, using our global scale and skills to help to solve society’s most pressing issues. At the same time, we know that we cannot change the world overnight or alone. We look forward to continuing to bring Allianz’s commercial expertise and scale to the table with policymakers, non-governmental organizations, and investees, to create solutions at the societal level and build community as well as individual resilience.
